The 2nd District Governor’s Cup Futsal Tournament – 2026 was a highly competitive 7-a-side futsal tournament featuring 8 teams, divided into two groups of 4 teams each. Throughout the group stage, teams competed with determination, showcasing their skills, teamwork, tactical ability, and sportsmanship, with the top 2 teams from each group advancing to the Knockout Round. The knockout stage brought intense competition as the four qualified teams battled for a place in the final and the opportunity to become champions. The tournament successfully brought together players from different clubs and age groups, creating an exciting sporting atmosphere while encouraging friendship, teamwork, and community spirit both on and off the field. Organized in loving memory of Late Shri Shankar Lal Kedia, the event carried a meaningful purpose beyond competition and was proudly supported by the Leo Club of Kathmandu Eureka and Leo Club of Kathmandu Sarubi, making the tournament a memorable celebration of futsal, sportsmanship, and unity.
